best method of travel in Australia?
Im going to Australia in april to september/october I want to travel all over the country and expierence the north a south ends. What would be the best method of travel for me? I dont think ill have enough cash to buy a crappy old van. is travelling by train expensive?
Trains cost around the same as airfares, $100 each leg.
You can train from Brisbane to Sydney and Sydney to Melbourne but these trains don’t run along the normal train lines, so you can’t get on and off along the way. You would be best to use buses and every day trains within the state but fly from capital city to capital city. Working from north to south would be cheaper and weather wise the best choice.
