Is it true that airlines cut a better deal if you travel to a funeral?
My grandfather just died and I'm making travel arrangements Dallas to Denver. I heard once that the airlines give a discount for trips funeral. Is this .... truth or just a myth.
Yes, some do, but the "duel" discount applies to fare classes Last Minute, and even with that discount, it is often much cheaper than if the normal rate last minute. It is, however, tends to be more flexible - that is, the return date can be changed often for free or a reduced rate. Do not pay more!
