Should I buy a rail pass to travel by train in Italy, or simply pay as I go?
I'll be there for more than a month??? Does anyone has bought a rail pass for Italy only have to pay additional charges once your trip for specific trains there?
Hello, it's always cheaper to buy point to point tickets in Italy. Check the Trenitalia website for prices. I go to Italy all the time and never lose money on a rail pass. You can often save a lot of money with point to point tickets. You did not say where you go in Italy, but if you go from Rome to Venice, you will pay 45 euros.
