How long did it take immigrate's from ireland to travel on the boat to ellis island?
This is for my daughters report and I need days/hours. I can not find any info online or in our history to help us.

1 month, 2/3 stayed (in NY they built erie canal, chicago had most industral jobs and SF gold rush, boston was closet site to land), 1/3 don't stay because Irish was discriminated that time.
